How we got the numbers

Single-family house and townhouse sales figures for zipcodes within the jurisdiction illustrate year-over-year changes in transaction prices.  Condominiums are excluded.

Home sales and price information,  is based on sales recorded in local government offices.  It excludes some types of transactions, particularly those that are not at market price.
